Beach rentals Charleston: A great place to watch football
Merry Christmas and happy holidays to all the folks staying in one of our beach rentals Charleston. The weather is definitely more summer than winter-like, which makes enjoying one of the best things about a Charleston beach house — aka, the BEACH — all the more enjoyable.
Our luxury beach house rentals SC are just steps from the sand and surf, and there’s something wonderfully festive about splashing around in December. Who needs the Caribbean when you can stay in a luxury house on Isle of Palms or a Folly Beach house Charleston?
Now that the holidays are here, that also means college football playoffs…. And boy are there some big bowl games coming up. Our SC vacation rentals are a great place to watch the games, since our Isle of Palms luxury rentals have your choice of many sizable screens on which to watch the action.
Below is a list of the bowl games along with who is playing whom. I have to chuckle at how the corporate sponsorships lead to some rather silly names (The Motel 6 Cactus Bowl? REALLY?!?).
If you’re here in one of EP’s beach house rentals Charleston SC and are wanting something festive to do, don’t forget the Holiday Festival of Lights. It goes on every evening (including tonight, Christmas night) through January 3rd, and it is a GREAT family-friendly activity for all ages.
Also, there’s a cool holiday walking tour of the Holy City going on each afternoon through December 31st (except for Christmas Day). It’s the “Christmas in Charleston Walking Tour” where you’ll get to visit decorated private homes and also churches and experience what Charleston was like at Christmas in 1860, 1886 and 1929.
