Beach rentals Charleston are always a great place to be, and this week is no exception.
I drove past Marion Square this weekend and noticed a whole new village of massive tents and rope popping up. Another week, another festival hits the Holy City. We’ve done The Lowcountry Oyster Festival, then SEWE, now onto the next.
This is a good one.
It’s a classic combo: beach rentals Charleston + wine + food. It comes together each spring in a uniquely Charlestonian way at the 13th annual Charleston Wine + Food Festival.
The giant foodiefest kicks off tomorrow (Wednesday, February 28th) and lasts through Sunday, March 4th. There are more than 120 events scheduled over the course of the five-day festival.
Considering how “on fire” the Charleston restaurant scene is, it’s no wonder the festival is bigger and better than ever. This thing generates some major global buzz.
If you’re coming in from out of town, as many festival-goers do, it’s no surprise that staying in one of our SC vacation rentals is a great way to go. Our beach house rentals Charleston SC, namely Isle of Palms vacation rentals, are close to all the events.
A Charleston beach house can house a huge gathering of friends and family in one place, so you can create family meals and memories together. A beach house Charleston also means you’ll be able to walk/run off all those delicious calories along the sands of the Atlantic.
An interesting note – the festival has a multi-million dollar annual budget and is a recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit. Part of the proceeds goes toward culinary scholarships for up-and-coming talent.
In one of our beach rentals Charleston this week? Hurry up and get tickets if there are any left
If you are interested in tickets, they go fast. Many events are sold out. Case in point: tickets for the Culinary Village for Saturday and Sunday, which sold out in record time. Last I checked, a limited number of Culinary Village tickets for Friday are still available.
You also still have a chance to get into sold out events by purchasing special ticket packages. Any tickets still available will be sold online up to the time of the event, or in person at the Ticketing Tent in Marion Square.
Here’s the official site, where you can see the whole schedule and purchase any remaining tickets.
Also, here’s a link to their blog.
As for Isle of Palms luxury rentals, they go about as fast as festival tickets. If you are interested in staying in one of our luxury beach house rentals SC, be sure to call us as soon as humanly possible so you get your top choice.
Most of the events take place on the Charleston peninsula, about 20 minutes or so away from a luxury house on Isle of Palms. The heart of the event is the ever-popular Culinary Village in Marion Square, affectionately known as “The Hub.”
So bon appétit, and hope you make it to an event or two. And remember, when you’re interested in rental homes South Carolina, especially beach rentals Charleston, be sure to give EP a call.
