come here on vacation.  So why cook? When you’re staying in one of our luxury beach house rentals SC, either Isle of Palms vacation rentals or Folly Beach rentals Charleston, the name of the game is relaxation.  It’s the goal of a Charleston beach house to eliminate stress and rejuvenate you and your loved ones as you experience the peaceful beauty of the beach. The folks who are staying with you in your luxury house on Isle of Palms or Folly have to eat.  So why not hire a professional chef/caterer to create an extraordinary meal right in the comfort of your beach house Charleston? Arlette O’Rourke is a gifted chef who is willing and able to whip up a gourmet dinner in the kitchen of your very own Charleston beach home.  Her company, IndiGenius Cuisine, uses fresh, local ingredients so you will be sure to experience some of the great cuisine our area is known for, without having to drive or sit amongst the throng of other diners.  These photos are from a recent dinner she prepared and served at Port of Call, 3400 Palm Boulevard, one of our Isle of Palms luxury rentals. Of course the Lowcountry is famous for its waterways and the delicious creatures that live therein.  Of course, when you come to stay in beach house rentals Charleston SC, you’ve gotta eat some seafood. Here’s a great video that shows IndiGenius making the most of fresh local seafood: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rhllEVqsk7E Watching that definitely made me hungry, like watching those Red Lobster commercials.  YUM. Here’s a link to IndiGenuis' website, with sample menus, testimonials and such:  http://www.indigeniuscuisine.com/ You can contact them directly, or if you prefer, just let us know and we’ll be glad to help you set something up. On a similar note, if you’re going to be here this weekend in one of our SC vacation rentals, there’s a cool event going on Sunday, November 8th.  It’s the annual fun fundraiser…

ART ON THE BEACH & CHEFS IN THE KITCHEN

From 1:00 till 5:00 on Sunday afternoon, you can stroll through various homes on Sullivan’s Island, just over Breach Inlet from our Isle of Palms vacation rentals.  Along the way you’ll see over 25 artists selling their work, hear live music, and get to watch and sample as various chefs offer demonstrations and tastings. It’s for a great cause, with proceeds going toward area pro bono legal services for those who can’t afford them.  Charleston Pro Bono Legal Services provides free legal advice to more than 800 people each year. Tickets are $40 in advance, or $45 at the door.  There are also special VIP tickets available which allow you to ride the AOB Limo, enjoying special libations and goody bags along the way as they take you to each venue. So enjoy some gourmet grub at the beach… and be sure to contact EP when you are looking for the very best in rental homes South Carolina.

All best, Lowcountry Lisa your Isle of Palms vacation blogger
