As the restrictions of the pandemic come down, so do the floodgates of travel. People are hitting the road, and the skies, with gusto.
Exclusive Properties’ luxury beach rentals on Isle of Palms are no exception. Our homes booked up faster than ever this season. There certainly is a lot of pent-up demand for people to travel and experience life beyond their four walls and out in the fresh air.
And where better to have a relaxing getaway than the beach?
This particular part of the East Coast is especially ideal, with its wide sandy beaches, pleasant water temps, ocean breezes, and close proximity to historic Charleston, repeatedly named the best city in the country to visit.
Stay Right on the Ocean
Many of our Isle of Palms rentals are oceanfront, just steps from the sand and the Atlantic Ocean. You can wake up in your bedroom, watch the sun rise out your window, sip a cup of coffee in your gourmet kitchen, then literally be on the beach in about a minute.
Peak season for beach rentals begins on Memorial Day and lasts through Labor Day, during which homes have a seven-night minimum stay. And this 2021 summer season booked up pretty fast and pretty solid.
Act Fast!
But there’s good news if you’re hoping to get in a beach vacation this summer. There is still some availability for our Isle of Palms oceanfront vacation rentals later in the season.
- We still have oceanfront availability for various dates between August 20th and September 5th.
- Some have reduced minimum stays. So instead of a full week, you can book with just three to five night minimums.
- Rates may be reduced, in some cases with a discount of 15% off the normal peak summer rate.
- We have availability in oceanfront homes on both the Isle of Palms (Ocean Boulevard, Palm Boulevard, and the upper avenues) as well as on Sullivan’s Island (Marshall Boulevard).
Two festive, fun oceanfront homes that are available for the last week in August…
Casa Margarita
Located at 904 Ocean Boulevard, this oceanfront Isle of Palms rental is down the street from the IOP hub of Front Beach, with its restaurants, night spots and beachy buzz. And quite appropriately, it’s the color of a favorite summertime libation.
Casa Margarita is right on the ocean, with its own large private pool area. There’s even a special kiddie pool, as well as an above-ground hot tub which is heated for free, along with a three-stall outdoor shower and full bathroom.
This home is set up for fun. It has 10 bedrooms and 11.5 bathrooms and can sleep 22 people. The bedrooms were designed with a delightful sense of humor and have themed décor. Pick where you’d like to stay - whether it’s King Tut’s Hut, the Love Nest, Dog House, Cat House, Pig Pen, Shoe Box, End Zone, Monkey Business, the SpongeBob Room or the Dinosaur Room.
Plenty of porches and decks face the water and take in the oceanfront views and breezes. There’s also an elevator perfect to help with older guests, or for unloading groceries and luggage. The gourmet kitchen has three refrigerators and double appliances, so lots of folks can pitch in at mealtime with plenty of elbow room to spare. Casa Margarita’s a perfect place for making great vacation memories.
Casa Banana
Casa Banana is even closer to the fun of Front Beach and is situated at 914 Ocean Boulevard. It, too, is a colorful Isle of Palms oceanfront vacation rental that’s designed for family gatherings and beach getaways.
Casa Banana has six bedrooms and seven and a half baths and can sleep up to 20 people. It shares many features similar to Casa Margarita, with the same spirit of joy woven throughout. Pick your themed room from among these options: the Hollywood Room, the Locker Room, the Love Shack, the Rock and Roll Room, the Jungle Room, and the Cat Room.
It, too, has a large private pool area complete with two kiddie pools, a hot tub, spacious backyard area and a convenient private boardwalk right to the beach. There’s also a Billiards Room for entertainment, as well as a high-end gourmet kitchen, plus four refrigerators for anything you want to keep cold. An elevator can help transport guests with special needs.
