The calendar may say it’s spring, but summer will be here before we know it.
Now that the pandemic seems to be behind us, folks have a pent-up need to travel. And sure enough, Exclusive Properties’ bookings are reflecting this trend. Demand for vacation homes is sky-high at the moment. Availability in our Isle of Palms homes for the peak summer season is limited, indeed.
But fear not - there are still some openings!
If you are interested in coming to the Isle of Palms this summer, we suggest you move as fast as possible since these will not last long.
Only one IOP home has room in June
If you’re hoping for an early summer visit to the Isle of Palms, we only have one home with availability, and that’s in the month of June.
It’s our home known as Beach Retreat, located at 3407 Palm Boulevard. Beach Retreat has plenty of room to host a slew of your family and friends. With nine bedrooms and nine baths, you can have a total of 22 folks staying here comfortably. It has an elevator, so those who might have trouble with steps will be able to navigate easily.
You can even bring your pup to this Isle of Palms pet friendly vacation rental. Beach Retreat is located on Palm Boulevard, the most popular one on the island. The home is across the street from the ocean, and it’s got some major features going for it. There are open concept living areas, plus ample decks and porches to take in the views. In fact, the top (third) floor is an expansive sundeck complete with a private pool, outdoor kitchen/grilling area, and full bathroom with shower. There’s also a king bedroom with private bath up top.
Check out the property page for all the details about this great house, including floor plans and bed configurations. FYI, this home rents Friday to Friday in the peak season.
You still have a chance for August … but hurry.
If you’re able to put off your visit to the Isle of Palms until later in the summer, you’ll have a few more options. We still have some openings in August, although they’re going fast.
And here’s a big perk - beginning in the third week of August, rates drop from peak summer rates. By booking a home in late August, you can save 15% or even 20% off the peak season rental rate.
Following are homes that have some spots available in August…
1) Shore Beats Work
If you’d like to treat yourself and your loved ones to a truly luxurious stay, this might be the one. Located at 4001 Palm Boulevard, Shore Beats Work is a stunning new home created by architect Carl McCants. It’s designed to maximize ocean views, with expansive porches and decks on all three levels.
Show off your culinary skills in the professional chef’s kitchen. Take a dip in the saltwater infinity pool, then enjoy the rainfall showerhead in the master suite. It’s got all the bells and whistles. There’s room for 12 guests, with six bedrooms and six and a half baths, with easy beach access.
See the photos and get all the details here.
2) Paradise Palms
Located at 3803 Palm Boulevard, Paradise Palms is another newly designed luxury home that exudes elegance. Think cool coastal décor with marble, quartz and white oak throughout. It, too, has an infinity pool overlooking the ocean, hot tub, outdoor grilling and lounging areas, an elevator, and plenty of decks to take in the sea breezes.
As a cherry on top, there’s even a classic Lowcountry feature - a porch swing bed that overlooks the ocean. It’s better than a hammock and big enough to hold a few children, or those wanting the perfect napping or reading spot.
Paradise Palms has five bedrooms, five baths and can host up to ten guests. Read more about it here.
3) The Tree House
The Tree House, at 3206 Palm Boulevard, is a cool Isle of Palms oceanfront rental that lives up to its name. It’s situated amongst the majestic live oak trees, another classic feature of Lowcountry living.
The Tree House has its own private walkway right out to the beach, a private pool with built-in seating, lounge areas, and a hot tub. The home is coastal chic, with floor-to-ceiling windows that take in the gorgeous views and the Atlantic light. There’s an elevator, seven bedrooms, six full and two half baths (sleeps 12), a gourmet kitchen, and open living areas. The rooftop deck has great vistas and a sheltered TV area to watch the big game, or maybe Bridgerton.
See details here.
4) Charleston’s Genesis
This home is on the end of the IOP toward Breach Inlet, the more secluded part of the island along Millionaire’s Row. Located at 124 Charleston Boulevard, it’s a fantastic home that was custom designed from stem to stern by a renowned New York textile designer.
Genesis has a light, airy elegance that wafts through every room. Flip through the photos and you’ll see what I mean. Every detail is well-conceived and just right, down to the leatherized quartzite countertops in the gourmet kitchen to the Victoria & Albert soaking tub in the master suite. Gorgeous glistening blue pool and hot tub too. Genesis hosts 12 guests in six bedrooms and five and a half baths, and rents from Friday to Friday in the summer.
If you’re hoping to book this summer, please do give us a call ASAP and we’ll do our best to get you on the calendar.
All best,
