The Charleston Farmers Market is held in Marion Square each Saturday from spring through late fall, in the middle of the Historic District in downtown Charleston. The market also opens on Sundays during events such as the Piccolo Spoleto Festival in May and June, as well as for the Holiday Market during the 1st 3 weekends of December.
During the Charleston Farmers Market, you and your guests can peruse the stalls of local Lowcountry farmers, growers, artisans, and more while enjoying live entertainment. Pick up a one of a kind souvenir to remind you of your Isle of Palms vacation, or pick up some fresh local produce for a home-cooked meal at your vacation rental. Live music, arts and crafts, breakfast, and lunch can all be enjoyed during this early morning event.
The Charleston Farmers Market is also associated with the West Ashley Farmers Market, which takes place on Wednesdays from 3:00pm to 7:00pm from late April through to early October in Ackerman Park, just 10 minutes outside of downtown Charleston. This is a great option for visitors who might have missed the Charleston Farmers Market due to the timing of their stay or the hours of their plans.
