Here we are right smack in the midst of a very festive week, a great one to spend in a Charleston beach house.

In that last BLOG, I shared some fun edible treats to make with peppermint and candy canes.  This time, I’ll pass along recipes for some holiday adult beverages.  It’s the perfect way to toast time together with family and friends.

If you are here staying in one of our luxury beach house rentals SC  –  either one of our Isle of Palms vacation rentals or our Folly Beach rentals Charleston, you picked a neat time.  The weather is a tad bit on the chilly side, which makes things feel very Christmas-y.  The rest of the country is getting buried in snow.  Here, it’s nippy but a nice time to walk the beach while wearing your new Christmas sweater.

Celebrate holiday week in a Charleston beach house

Celebrate holiday week in a Charleston beach house

Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve fall on the end of a weekend this year.  This week in between provides a nice “lull” between the two major holidays.  It’s a perfect time to gather in your Charleston beach house and serve something special to your family and friends.  If you are hosting a group in your luxury house on Isle of Palms or Folly Beach house Charleston, here’s a nice hostess trick.  Kick off the gathering with a special seasonal signature drink  –  or finish it off with one.  The benefit of having everyone staying under the roof of one of our beach house rentals Charleston SC is you can relax.  No one has to drive home after dinner.

The fine folks at Ideal Home Garden have assembled some excellent options guaranteed to spread merriment.

For the younger set staying in your Charleston beach house, just omit the alcohol and double up on the garnishes of whipped cream or cinnamon.
