A FREE fun run & more for kids 12 & under...

Bridge Run Kids’ Run

It’s a fun fall afternoon geared just for young people, brought to you by the fine folks who put on the Cooper River Bridge Run each spring. 

Each year, it takes place on the last Sunday in September.  So for 2025, that's Sunday, September 28th.

The Cooper River Bridge Run Kids’ Run & Family Festival takes place from 1:00 p.m. till 5:00 p.m. at Stoney Field at 300 Fishburne Street in downtown Charleston. 

There’s all kinds of great stuff in store…. like:

  • Face painting, jump castles and slide;
  • Activities and games like Mad Science and caricatures;
  • Obstacle course and climbing wall;
  • Family yoga session at 3:00;
  • Mascot Race at 4:30;
  • Toddler Waddler at 4:35;
  • 400-Meter Race around the track, in four age categories (5 and under, 8 and under, 10 and under, and 12 and under);
  • All race participants get a finisher medal when they cross the finish line;
  • Free hot dogs while supplies last!
  • Free admission for festival and race!

There is no charge, but kids 12 and under need to register in advance to race and to get a free runner’s bib.  Check the website for more details and to register.
