Folly Pier Fest

After a whole lot of careful work, Edwin S. Taylor Folly Beach Fishing Pier has been renovated and improved.  Read all about it in this blog.

In 2023 they decided to throw a party to celebrate the milestone with loads of music, food and carnival-like fun.  Plus it was for a good cause, as funds raised benefitted the Charleston County Parks Foundation.   Tickets were $20 in advance for adults, and kids 12 and under are free.  They sold out FAST, way ahead of time.

Due to the great response, there's a good chance it will become an annual thing.  Stay posted for 2024 date and details.

Here’s what they had in 2023:

• Live music by The Dave Landeo Band, and Justin Hodge;
• Entertainment acts that are family-friendly;
• Face painting, temporary tattoos, and roving kid-friendly activities;
• Plenty of food vendors, beverages, and festival food like cotton candy and popcorn;
• You’re encouraged to bring your own chairs.  No pets, outside coolers, smoking or vaping, please.
