Pickleball Pro Clinic

Pickleball has taken over the world, and it’s come to the Isle of Palms in a big way.  As I shared in this blog, the Rec Center added new courts to help keep up with the rapidly growing demand.

Wild Dunes Resort, located on the end of the Isle, is not to be undone.  In fact, they’ve hired a Director of Pickleball, Damien Spizzo, who is a Top 25 ranked professional.

Wild Dunes is hosting a special Pickleball Pro Clinic and have invited a touring pro to take part as well. 

Here are the specs:

• 8:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. the weekend of July 22nd and 23rd;
• Led by Wild Dunes Director of Pickleball Damien Spizzo as well as Touring Pro Anderson Scarpa – both Top 25 ranked professionals, plus additional staff;
• Geared for level 3.0-4.0;
• Focus on basic fundamental skills, grips, stroke development strategy, and strategies to win at your current level and the next;
• Cost: $350 non-members, $300 Wild Dunes Tennis Club members;
• Clinic limited to just 30 participants;
• Lunch and light refreshments are included;

• Wild Dunes entrance gate is located at 5757 Palm Boulevard.  The clinic will take place on the pickleball courts at the Tennis Center.
