Sea & Sand Festival

Sea & Sand is Folly Beach’s longest running festival. In fact, 2025 will mark its 33rd year. 

Day one is “Salty Saturday,” a huge street fair that takes over Center Street from 10:00 a.m. till 4:00 p.m.  Folly bars and restaurants will have plenty of food and refreshment for sale.  You'll also find...

• More than 40 local arts & craft and fashion vendors;
• Live local music on these three stages  -  the Ashley Stage, the Hurson Stage, and the Eerie Stage; 
• Free stadium cup for the first 5,000 guests;
• Surfboard Painting Competition that will become part of an art installation after the festival;
• Rodeo Shark open for rides from noon till 3:00;
• Photo booth; 
• Kids’ activities galore in the Sea & Sand Circus, by Good Clean Fun, with aerial performers, jugglers, hoop play area with curated music, face painting, bubble therapy, jump castle, inflatable obstacle course, arts and craft projects like pedal-powered spin art, and much more. 

Tickets are $10 advance or $15 at the gate.  Kids 12 and under and residents of Folly are free.

Then, on Sunday is the Sand Sculpting Competition at 9:00 a.m. on the beach in front of the Tides (located at 1 Center Street).  It’s a free event.
