St. Patrick's Day Parade & Block Party

The City of North Charleston puts on the Lowcountry’s biggest St. Patrick’s Day party.  2025 will mark its 21st year.

The fun kicks off with a giant parade at noon, followed by a Block Party with loads of food, libations of course (yes many of them will be green), live music, performances and activities for all ages.

And get this  -  the parade, party and parking are all FREE.

Here’s some of what was on tap in 2024:

  • Parade starting at noon starting at Park Place East (across from the Park Circle Community Center); route travels East Montague Avenue to Virginia Avenue;
  • Appearances by the Mayor, local dignitaries, Irish bands and dancers;
  • Block Party follows the parade, on East Montague between Jenkins and Virginia;
