Tales of the Lowcountry

In 2023, the talented thespians of The Crabpot Players Theatre Company teamed up with Wild Dunes to present a new production, “Tales of the Lowcountry” just in time for Halloween.  Good news: it's back again in 2024, with new tales for the season.

It plays every Friday and Saturday night in October, from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m., on the beach in front of The Boardwalk Inn in Wild Dunes.

Here’s how organizers described it:

“Listen to a collection of stories that immerses readers of all ages in the history, haunted tales, and occasional humor of the Lowcountry.

Explore the moonlit shores where whispered legends and lingering spirits await…

From forgotten pirates to resilient spirits, embark on a dark journey that uncovers the secrets hidden beneath the starlit skies and flickering bonfires that bring the Lowcountry's soul to life.”

Tickets are just $20, and kids 12 and under are free.  Tickets may be purchased here.
