Floor Plan & Bed Configurations

**During the Summer months we book Sun to Sun if you are staying a week. We have a 3 night min in the off-season**

As part of our Island Collection, 'Mermaid Manor' was recently updated in Spring 2021 with five bedrooms, and five and a half baths, private pool and hot tub (both heatable for a FEE), elevator and easy beach access. 'Paradise Found' offers a nice, quiet and cozy environment for smaller groups. The home is ideally situated on Ocean Blvd directly across the street from the beach and a short walk from "Front Beach", Isle of Palms downtown area, where guests can enjoy restaurants, shops and seasonal activities. The occupancy allowed is 12 people, but you can sleep up to 14 in beds (not including kids 2 and under). 

Guests can enter 'Mermaid Manor' via private elevator for easy access onto the first living floor that offers a warm, island style decorated living space. Families and groups will love having the open floor plan living, kitchen and dining space where they can share in meals and entertainment. Two bedrooms are located on this floor, both with King beds and each with their own private bath with tub/shower combinations. Also, on this floor is the half bath and laundry room and back porch with grill that allows access to your own private in-ground pool and hot tub (heatable for a fee). Guests can enjoy quiet evenings on the large front porch while they take in the ocean breezes. The back yard also features a putting green! 

The second floor of 'Mermaid Manor' provides the remainder of the sleeping quarters for this home. The large master bedroom houses a King bed and has a large private bath with separate walk-in shower and Jacuzzi tub. Across the hall from the master suite sits another King room, also with its own private bath with a tub/shower combination. Both the master suite and the second queen room on this floor have private access to the large porch with several rocking chairs to relax in. The last bedroom in this cozy home features two bunk beds, both with double over double beds--this room also has its own bathroom with a tub/shower combination. 

**Fireplaces are disconnected due to insurance reasons. Elevators are an added amenity and no refunds will be given if it's under repair or breaks.

It was a clean sweep of a "5" on all categories. Great location, walking distance to the beach and town, and I use a wheeled walker to get around in and out of the house. The elevator saved the week.

We had a lovely family vacation for “spring break” staying at the Mermaid Manor. We enjoyed the putting green and ping pong table. (Unfortunately it was too cold to enjoy the pool). The beach is just a short walk away and we were able to walk to local restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.

This house is perfect and presents even better in person. The kitchen is well stocked, as we are a family who loves to cook. It is perfect for someone who has mobility challenges. We had a family member who is in a wheelchair and she could move around freely throughout the entire house. The elevator provided accessibility to each level and the upstairs shower was easy for her to use. The home is steps away from the beach. We had our two dogs with us and the fenced in yard was perfect for them. I will stay at the Mermaid Manor again.

My family and I loved Mermaid Manor and would definitely stay there again! Everything was perfect from the beautiful front porch (where we spent a ton of time) to the cozy bedrooms and the gorgeous kitchen and dining area. The pool and hot tub were especially nice as we all enjoyed taking breaks from the beach. We walked to restaurants and shopping and overall had a fantastic time!! We found the house very comfortable, fulfilling all our various needs: bedrooms, an elevator for luggage and an elderly member, a lovely pool and surrounding area, and easy access to the beach. I think everyone would agree that our favorite place was the front porch, with a generous table and wicker chairs in one side, and comfortable and attractive seating on the other, including a porch swing. The kitchen was well-stocked. We used a service to purchase food to be put in the house before our arrival, and that was very satisfactory. Other services provided bikes, carts, baby beds and toys. All done very efficiently. A very pleasant house and a very pleasant week on the Isle of Palms

As advertised….Mermaid Manor met all of our expectations and provided for a great beach getaway for our family. Well appointed and comfortable, we enjoyed all the house had to offer. The entire property is well kept and inviting, with the backyard pool, hot tub, and putting green providing for many hours of relaxation. It's proximity to the beach (public beach access is directly across street) was awesome and almost made it feel beachside. Downtown IOP was less than a 5 minute walk, which made for very convenient access to all of the restaurants and shops it has to offer. If available, we plan to stay at Mermaid Manner in the future.

Clean open floor plan, well equipped kitchen and easy beach access. Also loved the screened in porch as a spot for everyone to hang out. Each bedroom having its own bathroom adds a nice touch of privacy. Would absolutely stay here again!

We really enjoyed our stay at this house! When we checked in, there was a dead bird on our porch table, but they were very quick to come clean it up before our guests all arrived. The house was spotless and gorgeous. We loved it. The pool filter seemed to have stopped working the day before we left and they were unable to have someone fix it before we checked out, but we spent the day at the beach anyway so it worked out. Our guests complimented how spacious it was and it was a beautiful home!!! Thank you so much!

Ocean views from nearly every room, beach access across the street, short walk to all the bars, shops and restaurants in downtown IOP, and tons of room in the house for a big gathering of family or friends. Very clean and well maintained.

Our family enjoyed a wonderful time together. It was everything we dreamed of and more.

We filled this house with 14 people- ages 17-86! It was a great size for our group with a roomy kitchen and a fabulous front porch to enjoy coffee in the mornings and conversation in the evenings! The elevator was wonderful for moving our luggage in and out. It was also a necessity for our older family members.

This house was amazing, and we would definitely rent it again! We only had 10 girls for the weekend, and were very comfortable! We did not need all the space that it offers, but really enjoyed the large kitchen, living room and screened in porch! The weather was too cold for the pool, which looked very inviting. However, the beach was just across the street with easy access. I slept in the master bedroom upstairs and had a view of the ocean, which was wonderful!

Each summer we try to take our children and grandsons to a beach location and after many other locations we fell in love with Isle of Palms. The most important ingredient to our new love affair is this amazing home. It is incredibly clean and convenient with comfortable elegance. We have small grandsons and it is a perfect home for families. They enjoyed the pool, screened in porches and quick access to the beach, near by restaurants..kid friendly. The listing description is very accurate! And absolutely not a bug insight the entire week, coming from the north where we are not used to your local creatures, that was important to us! We will return to Isle of Palms and to this lovely home. Thanks to the owner for sharing with us. We created wonderful memories!
