Description

**Saturday to Saturday rental in the Summer from Memorial Day week to Labor Day week.**

New to the rental market and part of our Luxury Collection, 'Villa del Mare' is an ocean view Mediterranean masterpiece and is located just a few steps from the beach. On the tranquil Isle of Palms, this one of a kind mansion features eight bedrooms, six full bathrooms and one half bath. The 6,000 square foot home is full of amazing artwork, spectacular views of the ocean, and luxurious features such as a fully equipped gourmet kitchen, wine bar, and a spacious fenced in backyard with a private 50 foot pool and a hot tub. 

As you enter via your private elevator or through the main entrance, you will instantly notice the high vaulted ceilings and the bright, sun-filled rooms. This first floor has three bedrooms- one with a queen bed and a half bath across the hall, the other two with king beds, private bathrooms and balcony access. One of these kings has ocean views. Also on this floor is the beautiful living room great for relaxing or entertaining with friends and family. Enjoy mixing a refreshing drink at the convenient wet bar with wine cooler off the living room. Turn the corner and you enter the dining room and Chef's kitchen including a Viking gas stove and double oven, stainless steel appliances, granite countertops and custom cabinetry

On the second living floor you will find the other bedrooms. All four of these bedrooms are equipped with king beds and private bathrooms. Also on this floor is the second sitting room with a wet bar and ocean views. Head down stairs through the basement and you will find the eighth bedroom. This room is a kids bunk bed room with two double over double bunk beds. 
 
Relax on the porch and enjoy the sunset or take a dip in your private pool or hot tub (heatable for a nominal fee) and enjoy the backyard oasis. 'Villa del Mare' is sure to please. This home's location may be one of its best features. On the quiet side of the island, you will be seconds away from Wild Dunes Resort, minutes away from the marina and two renowned golf courses and 20 minutes away from historic downtown Charleston.

The house was perfect for a large group of people. Super clean. Very large bedrooms which allowed privacy when you wanted to be away from the group. Multiple gathering areas for several people. Proximity to the beach is great, especially for those who enjoy the early morning or late evening strolls on the beach. Kitchen has everything you need to cook whatever you want. We will definitely book this again if we return to this area with a large group.

We rented Villa Del Mare for a week for a family member's wedding. Communication with Karen, the property manager, were great. She was friendly and very helpful. Maintenance requests were addressed promptly and professionally. I would describe the property as a grand dame showing its age a bit. There were a few maintenance issues, but I'm sympathetic to the owner. If you have the pleasure of staying there, you'll appreciate the constant maintenance challenge it presents. Despite a few missing tiles here and there, the swimming pool was magnificent, and the pictures don't exaggerate its size. The whirlpool was very large and the jets moved water really, really well. The house, particularly the bedrooms, was spacious and well-appointed, and the kitchen was well-equipped. The icemaker easily kept up with a group of 10 thirsty adults, and the wet bar was much appreciated.

In celebration of our 40th Deltaversary, Villa Del Mare was a perfect setting for our group. Plenty of sleeping space and conversation seating areas, as well as the beautiful layout of the house and the property. We were only steps away from the beach. Looking forward to coming back in the future.

The property is in a fantastic location. On a short private street with direct beach access. There is a large driveway that easily held 5 cars. The house was spotless and felt very clean. The pool was super big and the hot tub warm! Even the grandparents jumped in! The bed, bedding, pillows and furniture were comfortable and high quality. WiFi worked great with multiple devices streaming and zoom work meetings happening with no interruptions. The AC worked well and when a big storm knocked out the electricity for several hours, we were able to find many large candles in jars and matches. Made for a fun, cozy evening of family games that we won't forget. We all had a great time. That said, I agree with the other reviewer that the place could use some TCL. We paid the premium summer rate and would have expected a little more. The management company was excellent, the best we've ever had the pleasure to work with.

We are large family: parents, 4 grown kids, their spouses, their 10 children- 8yrs to 2 months. This house has bedrooms, big bunk room, large closets which house pack and plays and several living spaces. It was perfect for us. Maintenance was quick to respond to minor issues we had. Overall best IOP experience we've had in years.

The most incredible memories were made at this vacation property. We would rent it again in a heartbeat. I have nothing negative to say about this property with one exception. I wish there was a bathroom on the ground floor near the pool. The memories that were shared and the amenities of this home for outweigh any negatives! Taking a vacation during a pandemic raises concerns outside of the norm. We chose to vacation on the Isle of Palms, SC rather than a trip to Orlando or other Florida vacation destinations. It turned out to be the right choice. Villa Del Mare is spacious with all the amenities one comes to expect of a luxurious vacation spot. Upon arrival it was obvious extraordinary measures were taken to ensure my family was adequately protected from exposure to COVID-19. There was literally no reason for us to venture out. Local grocery stores and restaurants delivered to our doorstep without any contact with the delivery person. The beach is a short walk from the house with zero concerns about social distancing. Swimming pool, whirlpool, kitchen designed by a professional chef, spectacular views of sunrise over the Atlantic from multiple verandas - the list goes on and on why we would choose to return to Casa Del Mare for our next family vacation pandemic or not.

This is the most awesome house we have ever stayed in! Loved CV the size of the home and proximity to the beach! If you are going to Isle of Palms with a large group this is definitely a house you should stay in!

Last month my husband, son and daughter-in-law and I spent a week at the beautiful home on 53rd St. This was house was just incredible - sparkling clean, high end furnishing and a resort like swimming pool that we thoroughly enjoyed. The kitchen had everything we could possibly want, very nicely appointed. The porches overlooked the property which was simply stunning and beautifully landscaped. We were all impressed by this lovely home and hated to leave! We have all decided making the trip to the Isle of Palms and renting this house has been one of our favorite vacations in years. Highly recommend. Will definitely book again.

Our family stayed here for a week in August. The house is a short 5 minute (or less) walk to the beach. The house is well equipped to take care of those staying there. It was also very clean. The pool is large and has several lounges to use. Our bed was comfortable and most of the bedrooms are very large. We enjoyed sitting on the porch and taking a few afternoon naps in the chairs and lounges. Overall we did not have any issues, enjoyed a relaxing week, and hope to rent again in the future.

One of the best trips we've had. The house is fantastic and has everything you could need. We enjoyed a short walk to the beach and having plenty of space to ourselves once we were down there. Our family enjoyed hanging out in the living room and having dinners together each night.

The description of the property was excellent. The property management company was very thorough. We were even able to see the fireworks from the rooftop. The pool was fantastic, there was privacy but still had sunshine. The outdoor patio area was refreshing when sun was too much. The water was warm. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. Would highly recommend.

We stayed at this beautiful home during school vacation. We had lots of adults and kids (even infants), and there was plenty of room, and privacy, for all. The house is well kept with many amenities. The management company that handles your stay provides excellent service. Any issues are addressed immediately, and they can coordinate many additional services. Only downside of the home is that the pool is not heated, which is more of an issue for the adults than the kids! You will not be disappointed with this home! We can't wait to stay there again.

The house is beautiful. All the rooms are furnished beautifully. The kitchen is very well stocked, it has everything you need. Having the pool was awesome. There were 14 of us and we had plenty of room. There is a service available called: Groceries Ahead that we used to stock our basics and breakfast stuff for the next morning so we did not have to grocery shop until the next day. Overall our family had a great time and enjoyed everything about the house.

this is not a beach house this is a mansion. Every bedroom is decorated with the specific theme. There's a bedroom upstairs with A beautiful mural of the solar system. The house is two lots down from the beach you can see the ocean from any one of the many porches. There's an elevator so you don't have to carry groceries in and the kitchen is outfitted with top notch appliances. My group had so much fun here we rode bikes on the beach we took our surfboards out and actually got some waves. We watched the sunset from the rooftop porch with cocktails that we made in the fully equipped wet bar. This vacation was like a dream I felt like a princess living on the beach can't wait to come back next year.

My family and friends (10 people) spent a week in August at this lovely and spacious ocean view home. Has everything you could need including a elevator and pool with beautiful landscaping and is located a couple 100 feet from the beach. We will definitely be a repeat renter.

We arrived to find a simply gorgeous entertaining home to spend two weeks at the beach. Every room was spacious and the home had outstanding ocean views! We were so close to the beach less than 50 yards.The pool was large and well maintained and provided hours of family fun. The house had separate living areas which allowed the adults and children separate areas. The house was spacious with a lot of original art. The beds were so comfortable.

Good afternoon. Our family planed our vacation this summer with excitement. We knew this would be a great visit. Well we were in heaven from the time we arrived. The boys jumped out of the car and headed to the beach , they had to it was right there. When we entered the house a calm came over us , we can now really relax and breath. The family meals were fantastic and easy to prepare in the excellent professional grade kitchen. You could serve a banquet. Lush beds and linen were so comforting after a full day of soaking up all that The Isle Palms and The Villa offered us. I can't explain how well we all did there , we are a. closer family now for sure . Thank you

Rented this lovely home for Thanksgiving week. It is nicely appointed and perfect for entertaining. It is located in a quiet neighborhood on the Isle of Palms and we walked the beach every day. I plan to come back during the summer to enjoy swimming in the Atlantic and visiting Charleston. I highly recommend this home.

This stellar home was my family's vacation spot in October. We were so impressed by the views of the ocean from every porch. And with the comfortable outside seating you could be there from sunup to sunset. Not to mention the closeness to beach. Literally steps away from quiet, clean and relaxing beaches. Then the pool!! Come in from the beach and there is this beautiful pool and lush greens. You feel as if you are at some secret spa. Plenty of deck space for kids and adults to lay out and hang out. We were outside the whole time! But the inside isn't to be missed at all either. The house has heart pine flooring throughout and king beds in every room. Every room has full and gorgeous bathrooms. The kitchen is a chef's dream with a grill right outside on another deck overlooking the pool. It has a large 6 burner stove and an island that seats more than enough. The kitchen was stocked with anything you could think of if you are the cook in your family. And 2 dishwashers helped with quick cleanup so we could all just enjoy this beautiful house. There is stuff for teenagers as well. There was a pool table in the garage and with Bike rentals the front beach shops are very close. We couldn't have picked a better house on the island. We are sure to come back to this Villa again and again but don't take my word for it just look at the photos!

Went to Isle of Palms with 8 girlfriends. Lots of room, beautiful home, beach is right there! Easy access to Charleston. So much to do there, I'll have to go back to do what we missed. Recommend the house without reservations. Will return and this will be my first choice!
