Best Restaurants in Isle of Palms
One of the best parts of any vacation is having the opportunity to taste the cuisine of the area you are visiting. Crepes in Paris, scones in England, Mexican food in Arizona, and lobsters in Maine are all so much more delicious than the meals and snacks you can find in your own home town. When you vacation in Isle of Palms, however, you get the best of both worlds: good old fashioned Southern comfort food AND sweet delicious seafood that comes straight from the waters surrounding us! Don’t just take our word on this though, check it out yourself. We’ve compiled a list of some of our favorite restaurants on Isle of Palms to make it easy for you to verify our claims! And remember—there are no calories in vacation food!
Acme Lowcountry Kitchen 31 J.C. Long Boulevard
Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and Acme Lowcountry Kitchen is the place to go when you are seeking tasty home-cooked local breakfast specialties, as well as brunch, lunch, dinner, and drinks! Serving a delicious mix of Southern favorites and dishes straight from the sea, we can’t decide which breakfast items we like best: the Isle of Palms Benedict with Carolina lump crab cakes, or the State Biscuit that comes with sweet tea fried chicken breast on a fresh baked biscuit, your choice of grits or home fries, and their homemade black pepper gravy on the side!
Coconut Joe’s Beach Bar and Grill 1120 Ocean Boulevard
One of our favorite lunch spots, Coconut Joe’s is one of the best restaurants in Isle of Palms, offering simple, yet savory meals that taste even better when eaten on the deck with a view of the ocean! Also serving dinner, the extensive menu found here is simply exquisite. Serving steak burgers, sandwiches, and fresh seafood, we’ve yet to discover a meal we don’t like; we particularly love the seafood though, so we recommend trying Coconut Joe’s Atlantic Grouper.
Morgan Creek Grill 80 26th Avenue
Dinner is our favorite meal of the day and no one does it better than Morgan Creek Grill. Located at the Isle of Palm Marina with breathtaking views of the Intercoastal Waterway and our scenic lowcountry marshes, this top Isle of Palms restaurant is the place you go when looking for a dining experience. Seafood and steaks are their specialty, both served in ways unique to the region. Try everything here—there’s not one bad dish on the menu!
