Our SC vacation rentals are convenient to many things, not the least of which is an abundance of festivals.
This weekend is no exception, as it’s Sea & Sand Festival time.
As I mentioned in a previous BLOG, the Festival of Houses and Gardens has cranked up and will be going on through much of this month – prime time for the springtime blooms. It takes place all over the downtown peninsula, an easy drive from all EP’s luxury beach house rentals SC, both Isle of Palms vacation rentals and Folly Beach rentals Charleston.
Most of EP’s SC vacation rentals are Isle of Palms luxury rentals… but we have some great Folly Beach house rentals Charleston SC, too. And this weekend, Folly cranks up its biggest event of the year, the Sea & Sand Festival, stretching over three days, today through Sunday. This is the 26th incarnation of the festival and looks to be the best yet.
They are starting out tonight with the third annual Miss Sea & Sand Fest Pageant, complete with four different age categories and even an evening gown competition. It takes place at Folly River Park (1100 W. Ashley Avenue) starting at 7:00.
Saturday is full o’ Folly fun, with various events. At 11:00 a.m. they’ll shut down four blocks of Center Street and turn it over to approximately 100 food, art and craft vendors, silent auction, jump castles, carnival games and activities for the kids. There will be live music all day on two different stages. Performers include Sunflowers & Sin, James Justin & Co., and the Shakin’ Martinis.

It’s for a good cause, benefiting Folly Beach Parks and Rec. So if you’re staying at a Folly Beach house Charleston, stroll on down and check it out. And if you are a luxury house on Isle of Palms, it might just be worth the drive to check it out, and experience how the Folly vibe is a bit different from the one on the IOP.
Yet another (NEW!) farmers market near our SC vacation rentals…
As a follow-up to that last BLOG, a new farmers market has blossomed and promises to be an especially convenient one – it is the closest one to our SC vacation rentals on the IOP.
As of this week, Sullivan’s Island now has its own farmers market. It will take place on Thursdays from 2:30 – 7:00 p.m. through June 30th, and it’s located in front of the Edgar Allen Poe Library on I’On Avenue, Sullivan’s Island. Vendors will be selling fresh produce, flowers, seafood, desserts and prepared dinners you can take home to one of our SC vacation rentals.
More festivals lie ahead, and a Charleston beach house is a great way to experience them. Our rental homes South Carolina vary in size and location to fit the needs of your friends and family gathering. Be sure to call us as far ahead as possible to get the best possible SC vacation rentals.
