April is a glorious time to be in the Lowcountry, and there’s no shortage of events going on this weekend.  If you’re here in one of our beach rentals Charleston, either a luxury house on Isle of Palms or a Folly Beach house Charleston, you’ll have your pick of some great options.

They include: EAST COAST PADDLESPORTS & OUTDOOR FESTIVAL, CHARLESTON IN-WATER BOAT SHOW, SPERRY CHARLESTON RACE WEEK, SPRING JAM MUSIC FEST, HANAHAN MUSIC JAM, CHARLESTON BREW HAHA, COLOR VIBE 5K, CHARLESTON COUNTY EARTH DAY FESTIVAL, STINGRAYS PLAYOFF HOCKEY, and the ever-popular LOWCOUNTRY STRAWBERRY FESTIVAL.

Live 5 News has a lowdown on all of these events, with links to their official websites:  http://www.live5news.com/story/28819363/festivals-for-music-food-and-the-great-outdoors-happening-around-town

So many great choices on the list… but I’ll focus on one of them.  The Lowcountry Strawberry Festival is a local favorite.  After all, it features fresh-from-the-field deliciousness and is packed with family-friendly activities ideal for all ages staying in your Charleston beach house.

The festival is an annual event put on by the good folks at Boone Hall Plantation, one of the Lowcountry’s preeminent  locales.   It’s convenient to all our SC vacation rentals, especially our Isle of Palms luxury rentals.  From our Isle of Palms vacation rentals, just cross the IOP Connector into Mount Pleasant, then take 17 North.  You can’t miss it, it’s up a short ways on your left on 17 (address: 2330 N. Hwy. 17, Mt. Pleasant).
