A Fascinating Family-Friendly Attraction

The Children’s Museum of the Lowcountry is home to hands-on exhibits ideally suited for children ages 10 years and under. With nine hands-on interactive sections, you and your children are sure to keep occupied during your time here!

Additionally, if you’re interested in visiting when there are fewer crowds, you may want to visit during a school weekday afternoon.

The museum is also well-known for catering to children with special needs with wheelchair accessibility, permitting service animals, providing noise-reducing headphones when requested, and opening up the museum from 10:00am to 12:00pm on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of every month, during which children with special needs and their families can visit for free in a less crowded environment.

Admission for the Children’s Museum of the Lowcountry costs $10.00 for South Carolina residents and $12.00 for non-South Carolina residents, though you can receive free admission with purchase of an annual membership. Children under the age of 1 year are also admitted for free.
