On the menu, you and your guests can enjoy fresh, handpicked seafood and other fare prepared in South Carolinian fashion with heavy influences of classic French cuisine. Brunch presents options such as traditional she crab soup, shrimp and grits, jumbo lump crab cakes, omelettes with shrimp or fresh lump crab meat, eggs Benedict with fried oysters, grilled salmon, crab cakes, or fried flounder, refreshing salads, and your choice of broiled or lightly fried and breaded local flounder, sea scallops, East Coast shrimp, or East Coast oysters. Lunch includes many of the same favorites off of the brunch menu, only with an emphasis on hefty sandwiches. Try the open faced crab melt sandwich, a fried flounder sandwich, a salmon B.L.T., or a grilled fresh tuna sandwich. Dinner at Long Island Café incorporates the same appetizers and fresh seafood options, but with the addition of decadent entrées. Asian style tuna, Nantucket tuna, crab stuffed shrimp, filet mignon and crab cake, mahi mahi, grilled or parmesan crusted salmon, or pan-fried flounder are just some of the many main plate options. The café is open 7 days a week, with daily hours from 11:00am - 2:00pm for brunch and lunch and from 5:00pm - 8:30pm for dinner.
